Pi Week Pie!

Is there anything more glorious than a homemade fruit pie? Learn how to make your own berry pie from Decadent Creations Bakery owner, Food Network Season 23 Chopped Champion, Mindy Crosato! In class, students will mix their own pie filling with fabulous local mixed berries and learn to make decorative lattice tops; then assemble and bake their pie to take home at the end of class. While berry pies are in the oven, students will practice making a wonderfully flakey, all-butter crust to take home for their next homemade pie. (This crust is great for all sorts of sweet and savory pies.)

  • Ingredients for this class include wheat, dairy, and (optional) egg.

  • Registration for this class will close on Monday, March 11 at 6pm, so we have time to shop for ingredients and prep class materials.
