Kitchen Aid® stand mixers were built to last. But after many years of making Grandma’s sugar cookies, this machine, like any other, needs some basic maintenance. To support that, we’re offering a KitchenAid® mixer maintenance day! Bring your Kitchen Aid® stand mixer to Kitchen Culture during shop hours in the days prior (Feb 2, 5 or 6) to receive full maintenance service on February 7.

The service will include opening up the unit to inspect, clean and re-grease the gears with food-safe grease; inspecting and adjusting the head locking mechanism; checking and adjusting the blade height and pivot point mechanism; checking the electrical cord; inspecting, cleaning and adjusting the speed switch; thoroughly cleaning the exterior of the machine and polishing the surface to make it look almost new.

Please review the details below to learn if this service is a good fit for your mixer.

  • The maintenance service detailed above costs $85. If replacement parts are needed, they may involve an additional fee. ($10 for speed or head locking lever, $15 for new rubber feet, or $20 worm drive gear, for example.)

  • Kitchen Aid® stand mixers that are eligible for this maintenance event are Tilt Head models: Classic, Classic Plus, Ultra Plus, Artisan and Lift Bowl model: Heavy Duty. Other models may not be eligible.

  • Your stand mixer must be able to turn on.

  • You will need to bring the bowl, wire whisk and flat blade attachments along with the machine.
